Special Forgings for Critical Applications

Flash Forge Private Limited, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company, is a manufacturer of Customised Special Material Forgings used for severe service conditions in industries such as defence, aerospace, power, oil and gas, shipbuilding, petrochemicals and process plants. The company, with strong Source, Design and Process groups, is serving the defence services, Indian Navy, DRDL, DME, Mazagon Dock, etc., for high integrity systems/components for a variety of applications in ship building, submarines and missiles. It serves the Indian power sector for critical and super critical applications, e.g., high pressure, high temperature components, piping, valves, etc. It undertakes design processing of maraging steels, titanium, nickel and hastelloys for high temperature and corrosion applications. DCNS India, subsidiary of a French company, has qualified Flash Forge for mechanical equipment for their prestigious submarine project. Established in 1991 in Visakhapatnam, the company’s core expertise lies in the design, development and production of a high variety of customised products in non-standard materials and special alloys such as titanium, nickel and cupro-nickel alloys, maraging steel and GOST materials. It is among the first to supply titanium WP91 fittings in India. The manufacturing range comprises special products such as heavy wall thickness fittings, reducing elbows, y-pieces, gas bottles, steam headers, forgings for rocket motor casings and cladded fittings in non-standard dimensions or that involve non-standard processing or testing based on specific customer requirements. It also manufacture standard products in accordance with ASTM, GOST, DIN and JIS.
