Flange Forging

Lava Forge is manufacturer of small and long components forgings. The plant has facilities and arrangements of forge shop, die shop, machine shop, heat treatment unit, shot blasting unit, testing laboratory and computerised management system. The company follows the screw press type forging process. It undertakes steel forging as per drawings, specifications and samples provided by customers, subject to bulk quantity requirement. Flanges are manufactured in different shapes and sizes depending upon the purpose. Blind flanges are usually used to stop one end of the flanged pipe, a value orifice of the opening of a pressure vessel. Slip on flanges are used in quick assembly to save the cost, these are also used in less strict requirements in terms of length of pipe section. Socket welding flanges are recommended for orifice flanges. These work as substitute for slip-on-flanges in the cases where the diameter of the tube is very small and working pressure in very high. Lap joint flanges are primarily used when quick assembly and disassembly of pipeline section is required under limit working pressure. Threaded flanges are used in special requirements to work under high temperature and pressure, making sure no welding joint is made at the assembly. Weld neck flanges are mainly used to heat coupling of pipes when there is possibility of expansion of the section while bending stress on the coupling. All these flanges are available in a range of standard sizes.
