BTH Electrics (Guj) offers BTH Series Welding Rectifiers made out of copper/aluminium and CRGO stampings, designed to provide smooth DC welding current where 3-phase, 50 Hz, AC mains power is available at voltages ranging between 415 to 440 V. BTH Series rectifier sets are suitable for manual arc welding particularly for the welding of: pipes in all positions where welds of high radiographic standards are required, non-ferrous metals, low-alloy, corrosion, heat and creep resisting steels, and mild steel at sites where AC welding power may be unsuitable. The sets may be supplied with: (a) suitable ammeters and voltmeters for direct reading of the welding current and voltage; and (b) a remote current control device as optional extras. Salient features: designed for rugged use in all environments; half wave and full wave design as per requirement; power source designed for extra smooth current by specially designed chokes and current from 5 A to full range; suitable for almost all electrodes; high speed fan for more cooling; specially designed single PCB design instead of many cards; and meter provided ‘V meter’ on request.
