Features include: fully thyristorised; infinitely variable current setting over the entire range from 10 A to rated current; automatic current stabilization; and finger touch control. Model MTW is rectifier designed for extra smooth arc; reduction of spatter level and high efficiency makes no load losses and input current very low. Model MTW A6 is especially for 6010 cellulosic, 7018 and 6013 electrodes. Features include: low noise cooling fan which is permanently lubricated; modular design of PCB, plug in system reduce down time; PCBs housed in additional steel enclosure for protection and preventing the damages; and specially designed outer casing treatment which allows exposure to any offshore climatic condition.
