Hi-Tech Industrial Implements offers ‘SaveWeld’ – an Energy Saver with a built-in VRD, for welding machines. ‘Energy savers’ are inexpensive revolutionary electronic device that when deployed in series to a welding machine – mainly DC welding rectifiers – help drastically reduce the ‘no load’ consumption that is quite high in the region of 1.25 kWH to 2.5 kWH per hour. The in-built VRD or voltage reducing device, is a device which reduces the voltage during no load condition to 12-20 V, eliminating any chance of shock as the maximum current flow is limited to 12-20 mA if the person is fully wet and is grounded due to poor insulation losses incurred in each and every workshop that has and uses welding machines. Welding machines are generally switched On in the starting of the shift and remain in the ‘Power On’ mode the whole day incurring heavy power drainage and losses day long even when not in use. The welder decides to start welding or restart after a break, the machine ‘kicks into on mode’ and welding is attained in a smooth and regular way, incurring the normal power use. These ‘Energy Savers’ have a unique power saver circuitry that automatically trips the main input to the machine/s and keep them on ‘ standby mode’, wherein there is very less power consumption; so that only the power circuit maintenance consumption is involved. the total savings from power consumption is enormous and each unit is paid back totally in 3 months.
