Toolcraft Systems Private Limited manufactures a range of EDMs (electric deposition machines) also know as spark erosion machines. The company offers Model ZNC EDM, Cantilever Type. The unique feature of this model is the rise and fall work tank, facilitating the operator to rise or lower the tank to his convenience without draining the dielectric. The table is fixed with co-ordinate movements provided to the electrode head. ZNC features: twelve programmable steps for each job; multi-stage anti-arc; quartz crystal oscillator; Mosfet power stage; all machining parameters can be programmed; DC servo quill; XYZ position readout with linear scales; and windows operating system. Established in 1961, the company is one of the leading manufacturers of CNC minimills and engraving machines and spark erosion machines (EDMs) in India. Toolcraft was established as an ancillary to Hindustan Machine Tools Limited (HMT) – Bangalore by a technocrat who was working in HMT as a design engineer. The company was established mainly to manufacture components required by HMT and also as a centralised heat treatment shop.
