Valve Lapping Machine, Autolap

The Autolap-1, Autolap-2, Autolap-4 and Autolap-6 valve lapping machines are the first of their kind in India. These machines will provide major technological break through in valve lapping operation of internal combustion engines. Features: drive – specially designed heavy-duty compact geared motor of ample capacity with an output speed that is optimum for valve lapping operation; the mechanism of the machine is fairly simple and hence requires practically no maintenance; spindles – these are robustly designed and made of toughened alloy steel, precision round and supported in heavy-duty roller bearings; the centre distance of the spindles can be adjusted simply by turning the knob and sliding the spindle block; once the desired centre distance is achieved the spindle block can be locked in position by turning the knob in the reverse direction; the rubber suction cup that drives the value is spring loaded and the load is adjustable to give optimum lapping load on the valve; machines with fixed centre distance spindles can also be supplied. Four models are available, viz., single spindle Autolap-1, two-spindle Autolap-2, four-spindle Autolap-4, six-spindle Autolap-6. Advantages: economical, labour saving, high rate of production, high operational efficiency, less down time of engine, precision, longer life of valves, consistency in lapping and high quality of work, skilled labour not required. Extra accessories: machine lamp, timer for auto stop, device for intermittent lifting of valves during lapping, fixtures for quick positioning of cylinder heads, tables of horizontal and vertical movement.
