Swing Beam Shears With Digital Backgauge

MetFab Machines offers HGL series Shearing Machines from Baykal, Turkey, in capacities 6 and 8 mm, and length 2500, 3000 and 4000 mm. The top beam swings on high-precision and self-aligning roller bearings to give a clean perpendicular cut. The shearing machines have lowest fixed rake angles to ensure optimum shearing quality with minimum distortion. Powered backgauge with digital readout and retract function to allow free fall of cut plates is standard. The blade gap can be manually with calibrated lever on side of machine. Hydraulic hold-downs firmly clamp the plate to avoid slippage while cutting. The machine is provided with front finger guard, side throat gap guards. Pendant arm and foot pedal operation allows operate machine from most convenient and safe location. Squaring arm with metric scale, T-slot and flip-stop facilitates accurate squaring. Two front arms support extra materials, longer plates. Shadow line facility with fluorescent lighting allows clear view of cutting area and cutting to scribed lines. Alloy steel blades with two cutting edges for top blade, four cutting edges for bottom blade. The powered backgauge runs on ballscrews, guides and servo drive. It is equipped with automatic retract function at every stroke to allow free fall of cut strips and swing up at end of travel range of 750 mm. The table is designed with filler plates, ball transfers, hand slots to allow operator feed plates with minimum efforts and scratch marks. These hydraulic shears are very versatile, reliable and efficient, designed and built to high standard to meet the requirement of precision sheet and plate working shops.
