Features: structure - fabricated, reinforced, duly heat-treated and precision machined and hand scraped; co-ordinate table - seasoned casting, precision machined and hand scraped; moving on precision hand scraped slides and guides; linearity of movement is ±0.005 mm/100 mm; hand wheel graduation with vernier drum 0.005 mm; mechanical locking for X and Y axes; hardened and ground screws; double nut for eliminating backlash; work tank - mechanical level control for fast flow out and minimum level of dielectric oil; safety float limit switch and upper level switch; dielectric manifold with pressure gauge for flushing and filling; dielectrics reservoir - "L" type for easy cleaning; pump - full discharge for bulk filling; by-pass and in-line controlled flushing through manifold; vertical submerged type; filtration - easily replaceable cartridge type filter elements; RAM - platen with 3 "T" slots; preloaded antifriction system for movement; hardened, ground and lapped slides and guides; plunger dial readout with 0.01 mm resolution; micrometer depth stop; stepper drive - quick response DC stepper servo system; and pulse generator features - solid state circuitry; plug in module construction; designed for continuous duty, tropicalised service with cooling fans; cut-finish interlock and mounted on four wheels and reverse sparking facility.
