Slotting Machine

R K Machine Tools Ltd manufactures mechanically operated slotting machines with strokes ranging from 228 to 500 mm. The wear resistant castings are stress relieved. Hardened and profile ground gears are of alloy steel. Shown here is a simple type slotter with 250 mm strokes. The machine is very rigid, designed for precision work and easy to operate/maintain. Indexing arrangement is provided but feeds are manually operated. It is most suitable for keyways, and internal splines.
