R K range of knee-type milling machines are manuactured in sizes 2,3,4and5,in universal/horizontal and vertical models. The main castings are graded, wear resistant, heavy duty type and are stress relieved. Gears are made of alloy steels, hardened and profile ground. The geometrical and working accuracies are maintained to ISI Standards. The vertical miller shown here has 18 spindle speeds ranging from 30 to 1,500 RPM. It has 18 independent (in all the three axes) feeds ranging from 12 to756 mm/min. Rapid traverse is provided in all the three directions. The RK product line also includes a hobbing machine for cutting gears up to 625 mm in diameter. It has a capacity of 6 modules and can cut spur, worm, helical, and sprocket gears and splined shafts.
