Pet Bottle Manufacturing Machine

Sidel India, a subsidiary of Side France, offers the SBO 2 F PET bottle manufacturing machine. This is to manufacture bioriented PET bottles designed to package still or carbonated drinks. The machine has a maximum output of 2,400 PET bottles per hour, with capacities ranging between 0.25 to 3 liters. It uses the 2-step process which involves reheating before biorientation. The separation of bottle and preform manufacturing techniques enables production optimization in terms of process, rate and yield, and thus provides great flexibility of operation and use. The machine has two moulds and three beating modules. Preforms are fed from a large hopper to the heat conditioning unit where they continuously pass in front of the three oven modules. The preforms are next transferred onto the two fixed blowing positions. The blowing process ensures optimum distribution of wall thickness. The machine operates on a 400 V three phase supply.
