Large EDMs: Cantilever/Bridge Type

Toolcraft Systems Private Limited manufactures a range of Cantilever/Bridge Type Large EDMs (electric deposition machines) also know as spark erosion machines. Cantilever type: designed to handle heavy die blocks. The co-ordinate movements are provided on the head and the table is fixed. Bridge type: custom designed for eroding heavy forging dies, large plastic moulds, etc. The electrode head moves on a bridge. Standard accessories: two injections, one suction, dial indicator, machine lamp, set of tools, motorized X, Y movements with keypad. Optional accessories: horizontal eroding attachment, digital readout system, and adjustable collect chuck, rotating electrode attachment. Established in 1961, the company is one of the leading manufacturers of CNC minimills and engraving machines and spark erosion machines (EDMs) in India. Toolcraft was established as an ancillary to Hindustan Machine Tools Limited (HMT) – Bangalore by a technocrat who was working in HMT as a design engineer. The company was established mainly to manufacture components required by HMT and also as a centralized heat treatment shop.
