Indefinite Chill Rolls, Spun Cast Special Carbide Enhanced

Bharat Roll Industry, a member of Modern Group of companies, has a leading presence in India’s roll manufacturing scenario. Established in 1972, with a goal to meet the country’s requirement of rolls indigenously, the company today offers a product canopy consisting of 50 kg single piece roll to 30000 kg single piece roll in finished weight. The company offers Spun Cast Special Carbide enhanced indefinite Chill Rolls. These rolls have been developed to cater to the most demanding strip mills/steckel mills by providing extra special carbides through alloying, heat treatment and inoculation. The shell microstructure consists of martensite, bainite with finely dispersed carbides and fine well distributed graphite which imparts higher resistance to wear and abrasion with better mechanical properties. Applications: these rolls are used as work rolls in the final finishing stands of CSP, hot strip mills and steckel mills.
