VARGUS Ltd offers Groovex line of products – an impressive array of innovative grooving solutions for groove turning and groove milling applications. Groovical is a new line of solutions for general grooving applications, featuring indexable inserts with 3 cutting corners and a unique rigid clamping system for improved productivity, available in square, round and special profiles for internal and external grooving and parting off applications.

It comprises two distinct tooling systems:

• GV26 – groove widths = 0.5-2 mm/groove depths – up to 5 mm
• GV29 – groove widths = 2-6 mm/groove depths – up to 6.5 mm

Laydown Grooving: standard solutions for internal and external general grooving applications in sizes/profiles: Square, DIN 472/471, Round and DIN 76 thread undercuts.

Other products in the Groovex line include:

• Microscope – indexable carbide inserts for small bores for grooving, boring and threading in bores from 1 mm
• Mini-V – indexable inserts for small and medium bores, available in bore diameters 8-16 mm
