Vargus Ltd has launched “Groovical†– a new line of cost-effective Grooving Tools now available for general applications. The company, a world-leading manufacturer of high-quality thread cutting, grooving and deburring tools for the metals and plastics industries, is presenting its newly expanded line of grooving solutions from Groovex. The new Groovical line provides an impressive range of high-performance and cost-effective solutions for general applications in a variety of different profiles: square, round and specials. Suitable for internal and external grooving and parting off applications, the new Groovical line includes two distinct tooling systems designed for different groove widths and depths:
- GV26 – for groove widths from 0.5 to 2 mm and groove depths up to 5 mm
- GV29 – for groove widths from 2 to 6 mm and groove depths up to 6.5
Groovical indexable inserts feature a new geometry with 3 cutting corners for faster and more cost-effective machining. Available in VKX grade, Groovical inserts benefit from the winning combination of a tough substrate and TiN coating, which further guarantees increased wear resistance and improved tool life. The new Groovical line also offers a large range of toolholder styles that provide tooling solutions for a variety of different applications. Furthermore Groovical toolholders possess a unique rigid clamping system for better corner support and significantly improved rigidity and productivity. All Groovical toolholders are produced with a new nickel coating for better protection against rust and corrosion. Groovical is the newest offering from Groovex, providing innovative solutions for a wide range of grooving, boring and micro-machining applications for industrial use.
