CNC Single Spindle Automat

Cosmos Impex offers Quicker Series CNC Single Spindle Automat machine. It is designed to turn small parts normally used in cameras, electronic gadgets, spray guns, hydraulic and pneumatic end fittings, cable glands, etc, made of aluminium, brass or mild steel. It can also produce automobile related parts like piston pins, valve guides, ejector pins, etc. The basic machine is similar to a CNC lathe having 3-axes, unlike the conventional CNC lathe. The third Y-axis is used in co-ordination with cross axis for precise and quick tool change. The machine is powered with Mitsubishi high speed, high gain AC servo motor and drives. The spindle is powered with a Mitsubishi A500 Series inverter. The machine is supplied with specially designed CNC controls, with a PC architecture of 9"CRT, with on-line graphics facility to monitor the tool path. Keeping in mind the increased productivity, the machine is equipped with an automatic bar feeder to feed bar-stock. The finished parts after parting operation will be collected by a parts catcher and then automatically transferred over in-built finished parts conveyor. To facilitate continuous uninterrupted production, a chip conveyor is attached for prompt and efficient chip disposal. The high precision spindle is supplied with a precision collect chuck to hold bar type jobs, and a spindle encoder to facilitate different thread cutting cycles.
