Power Press With Pneumatic Clutch

It offers a heavy-duty power press with pneumatic clutch. These presses are available in capacity of 10 to 250 tonnes in single gear with pneumatic clutch, fixed and inclinable models. The heavy rigid frame is constructed with extra thick premium quality, hot rolled steel plate. The side frames are reinforced by two extra thick and deep gussets to form a tripled lamination on both sides of the top and bottom of the gap. An adjustable stroke crank shaft is forged from special alloy steel. Its shape dimensions and wide radii eliminate stress concentrations and metal fatigue. The slide is of high grade casting, more resistant to deflection than steel. Guides are supported on all corners by a six-point gibbing system. Two back corners have four point right angle gibs, while the front corners have 45 degree gibs to fully support the slide on all sides. Main gear: single reduction helical gear runs in an oil bath for constant lubrication and noiseless operation. Pneumatic clutch and brake: electrically controlled and air operated clutch and brake combined unit permits high frequency of operation and more flywheel energy for work. Wear on clutch and brake is automatically compensated and no adjustment is necessary. Surge tank, filter, regulator, air lubrication unit, pressure switch, etc., are incorporated. The inclining mechanism is sufficiently high above the floor to be manually operated easily, conveniently, safely for standing position. Frame pivot is positioned well, so the height of press is not changed.
