It offers a single geared, pillar type steel body geared power press, in capacities of 10 tonnes to 200 tonnes. The frame is of robust fabricated steel construction of rigid and interlocked design. It is strain-free and supports the ram and bed against pillar type models. Mechanical clutch and brake: revolving key clutch linked with the main gear engages every time when the foot pedal is pressed. Drive is provided through V belts and all the journals are fitted in gunmetal bearings. Spring operated powerful heavy-duty brake is of release type, operated by a cam. The crankshaft is made of special EN8 high tensile steel machined and ground to highest degree of accuracy. Bush bearings are of heavy-duty gunmetal, machined to utmost grade of accuracy with provision of oil grooves to ensure a proper film of oil lubricant for smooth running of the machine in all conditions. Knock out: presses above 10 tonnes capacity are fitted with knock-out brackets for stripping down the parts drawn, thus facilitating the work. The ram is of rigid construction of high tensile case iron/case steel with round die stalk hole and clamp. It can be tightened by means of screws on the side. The slide can adjust the stroke as desired without hit and trial method. These power presses are manufactured with adjustable stroke. A multiple claw sleeve with graduation is provided to get the required adjustment in the stroke. The operator can adjust the stroke as desired without hit and-trial method. The flywheel is made of high grade CI and designed to generate the maximum energy.
