Hydraulic Press, Air Operated

Mitesh Associates offers air operated hydraulic presses. These are specially designed for economy in mind when low rate of production is to be increased. These presses can be operated by compressed air supply at 100 PSI. Compressed air is used to boost up oil pressure, which is then fed to the main hydraulic cylinder to obtain a high ram force. The relatively long approach stroke of the cylinder is accomplished at low, power saving (generally 60 to 100 PSI) air-on -oil pressure. Thus it can operate from shop air, with high efficiency, precision smoothness and control of hydraulic operation without complicated pump and high-pressure hydraulic valve installations. And the shift from low, approach stroke, pressure to high work pressure is automatic with no time devices and/or tricky circuitry. Range: capacities offered are 2, 4, 6, 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 tonne (to be specified); stroke - 50 mm to 200 mm (to be specified, 50 mm stroke is recommended); maximum number of stroke - 6 or more; daylight gap - 100 mm to 600 mm; air requirement - depending upon the tonnage and stroke; and maximum press speed - 40 stroke cycles per minute. Application: highly suitable for operations like blanking, punching, pressing, bending, forging, etc. It is ideal for marking, coining, stacking, etc. Mild steel plate of up to 19 mm thickness can be punched or sheared by air at 100 PSI. It can be used for squeezing water or liquid from slurry pulp, chemicals, paste, powders, sludge, etc and can be used in laboratories. It can be used for deep drawing of small components.
