Trimans Atpp12 is a high speed, hydraulic turret punch press developed and manufactured by Nugen Machineries, Ahmedabad, to meet the demanding challenges of high production precision sheet metal punching work. The integrated CNC control and hydraulic system deliver impressive overall performance in a compact design. Atpp12 provides a punching force of 12mt and can process 100mm x 2500mm sheets with repositioning. The machine has a fabricated ?C? frame structure built from IS2062 GR B, ultrasonically tested steel plates. The structure is allied to a hydraulic cylinder to ensure minimum permissible deflections during operations. The ram is controlled by directional control valves using simple hydraulics. The drive mechanism has digital AC servo motors, ball screws and Linear Motion (LM) guides. The machine is offered with a brush transfer support table, hydraulic sheet clamping and automatic repositioning in standard scope. The use of brush reduces sound levels, provides scratch free parts and improves tooling life considerably by preventing dirt and dust on the work piece from entering into the punching zone. The optional auto index stations offered maximises the machine utilisation by reducing processing time, lowers tooling costs, allows complex shapes to be produced and provides finished part quality.
