Universal milling machines

The UM-1000-G model universal milling machine from Ludhiana-based International Engineers Corporation employs backlash elimination on table, lead and screw. Grade 1 castings are used for fabrication of the machine while the machine table and saddle are made out of castings containing nickel and chrome. The spindle is hardened and ground and all shafts and screws are made of alloy-steel. The cutter-arbour is made out of alloy-steel that is heat-treated and ground. Machine headstock is fitted with a lubrication system. The machine is provided with totally covered knee top and the feed gearbox.
