Sand Mills

Multifab Engineers offers Sand Mills of 240 ltr capacity for processing huge quantities. This 240 ltr Sand Mill has improved features based on actual feed back from users. Power consumption per litre capacity is less than the smaller versions. Sand mills (originally Ottawa sand was used and hence the name; glass beads have since replaced sand) are used for size reduction in the wet conditions of dyes, paints, inks, etc. Size reduction is achieved by high speed discs rotating in a cylindrical bowl. All contact parts are in stainless steel except the discs, which are in UHMW-HDPE which has longer life than others. The company also produces Sand Mills of 30, 60 and 90 ltr capacity.
