Gas & Liquid Drying Systems

Gas & Liquid Drying Systems

New Multifab Engineers offers Gas & Liquid Drying Systems. These are adsorption and catalytic system. Industrial gases, such as air, nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, natural gas, ethylene, argon, etc, can be dried to very low levels of moisture (1 ppm) by adsorbents like activated alumina and molecular sieves. Impurities, such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia, oxygen and hydrogen from carried gases can be removed almost completely by molecular sieves. Immiscible liquids usually contain soluble quantity of water in the organic phase. The concentration of water ranges from 100 to 2000 ppm by weight. Such liquids include benzene, toluene, xylene, kerosene, propylene, hexane, etc. These liquids can be dried to a moisture-content of as low as 10 ppm. Miscible liquids, such as ethyl alcohol, methanol, acetone, phenol, acetates, etc, can be dried up to a moisture-content of 0.2% by molecular sieves. Even lower moisture-content can be achieved in special cases.
