New Delhi-based Associated Technocrats Pvt Ltd manufactures precision milling machines - 1S that possess hardened chromed and ground quill for long time accuracy.The machine with centralised lubrication has 3 HP (16 speed) belt head with peak RPM of 4,600. This straight column type machine weighs approximately 950 kgs and has a table with dimension 1,067 mm x 230 mm. The traverse is manual with X, Y and Z-axes traverse of 760, 305 and 405 mm, respectively. The head swivels to left and right by 90-0-90 deg and its swivel towards and away from the column is 45-0-45 deg. The saddle ways are Turcite ? B coated and the casting is of Meehanite type. These machines are provided with double nut backlash eliminator for X and Y-axes.The ram rotation of the machine about the vertical axis is 360 deg with ram travel 310 mm. The range of the speed of the spindle head with motor power 2.2 kW is 70-4,620 RPM. The overall dimension of the machine is 1,800 mm x 1,600 mm x 2,020 mm and the feed rates are 0.04, 0.08 and 0.150 mm/rev.
