Planomilling conversion with universal milling capability

Shenoy Engg specialises in planomilling conversions by retrofitting milling head on the existing post carriage and by super-imposing a table drive unit. A converted planomiller boosts up the productivity of the planer by several times and earns back the small investment within a year. It adds a new lease of life to the worn out old planers, since, after planomilling conversion, not only the table speed is drastically reduced, but also the cutting load is taken over by the self powered milling head. Milling heads are offered from 5 HP onwards. Different types of table drive units are offered. The company offers to convert the planer into planomiller at customer"s works on turn key basis. Combination of a vertical milling head and a swivel based right angle attachment adds the capability of floor borer to the converted planomiller. The same combination permits machining at right angles the top and all the four sides of a rectangular job in the same set up. Cup wheel and peripheral wheel grinding heads also offered to add slideway grinding and surface grinding capabilities to a planer.
