Precitec offers Plano Milling Heads. Features: rigid spindle construction, with ground splines and supported on pre-loaded taper roller bearings; customised total conversion kits selected out of vertical, side milling heads, grinding heads and different versions of table drive units offered; all gears are hardened and ground to DIN specification; provision of coarse and fine quill feed with 0.05 mm graduation; accommodates specific angular milling application; suitably engineered for side milling application; independent self contained lubrication system for gearbox. Spindle and quill housings are hardened and ground and finished to high accuracy for smooth running.
