Mill For Heavy Duty Cutting

The Alliant Series 1054-3V 3 HP vertical knee mill features a heavier column, overarm, knee and saddle to handle heavier parts or fixture loads. The 1054-3V features a hardened and ground table3" thick x 10" x 54" wide, Class 7 spindle bearings with precision internal-ground quill bore and Turcite ? B lining on the X and Y axes. Spindle speed ranges from 70-4,200 RPM with travel distances: X axis 37"; Y axis 16" and Z axis 16" and hardened and ground slideways on each axis. The 3 HP continuous duty motor drive main is dynamically balanced and supported top and bottom by ball bearings. Maximum distance from spindle to table: 6.8" to 27.8" and minimum/maximum distance from spindle to table: 3/4" to 16-3/4". In addition, machine construction features double lock on ram, table and knee and double brass-nut backlash compensated on the X and Y leadscrew.
