Features: two-station hardening machine for starter ring gears, with CNC servo axis for component up/down; CNC servo axis ensures repeatable positional accuracy of coil while heating; allows quick set-up change for different jobs; highly consistent results; loading, heating and quench positions can be programmed in the CNC screen as required for each part; fine corrections to the coil plane with respect to the job possible; ensures desired pattern at top and bottom surfaces of the job; the two stations can run the same component; or the stations can be set-up to harden different types of jobs, thus reducing the number of set-up changes.
