Voltas offers Supfina TP 90, a superfinishing machine from Supfina Grieshaber GmbH & Co, Germany. The Supfina TP 90 is characterized by: optimum improvement of surface roughness, concentricity and bearing ratio; generation of plateau honed surfaces to DIN 4776E; versatile applications for all rotationally symmetrical workpieces; generation of special shapes, eg, anti friction bearing rolls, rapid retooling; powerful pneumatic oscillator; mass compensated oscillation action; and high rate of output comparable with centreless grinding. Specifications: diameter- from 4-100 mm, length - from 3-300 mm, oscillation frequency - 2000-3000/min; oscillation amplitude- 1-5 mm; and retooling time-15 min.
