Induction hardening with scanning

Ferro Treat (India) offers induction hardening services on latest machine consisting of RF/MF generator with scanning attachment to induction harden externally or internally, long shafts, bushes, rollers, and barrels of sizes ranging from 25 dia to 400 dia and length up to 2000 mm. The induction hardening is done on any through hardening material with utmost care. Induction hardening on case hardening steel is also offered. The depth of hardness can be controlled from 0.5 mm to 5 mm with hardness gradient as per customers" requirement. The core hardness just beyond the case depth and up to the centre of the core can be controlled and can be measured on Vickers hardness tester, having minimum 1 kg load by preparing cross section sample duly mounted. The hardness on surface, case hardness and core hardness can be controlled precisely as per requirement. Faster delivery, quality assurance and economic rates are the special features of the offer. For locational induction hardening of small parts, casting, forgings can also be done with special fixture and inductor coils specially designed as per requirement. Besides induction hardening other services offered are tufftriding, tufftriding with QPQ, nitriding, gas carburising in controlled atmosphere furnaces, solution annealing and all other normal heat treatment services.
