Double End Facing And Chamfering Machines

This series of machines takes pre-cut tubes and automatically produces an inside chamfer, an outside chamfer, and faces the tube. The design of these machines allows them to be used as a stand-alone unit; or as part of an automatic line. Automatic feeders can be provided behind the feed chute to create a totally automated chamfering machine. The manufacturer can provide bowl feeders for short parts, or a chain conveyor if the parts are longer. Further, these machines may be placed at the discharge end of the cut to length time. This can allow the user to produce cut tubes, faced and chamfered without the aid of an operator. The machines in this series have a range of 3/8" minimum to 3 " maximum tube. The facing and chamfering chucks utilise three standard, off the shelf, cutting tools. These chucks are adjustable throughout the full range of tube diameters. The flexibility of these machines is further demonstrated by their ability to chamfer and centre solid material, as well as tube pipe. Tubes as short as one inch can be faced and chamfered in these machines. Depending on the application a user can expect up to 1,200 pieces per hour.
