Diamond Lapping/ Polishing Machines

Lapmaster India offers Diamond Lapping/ Polishing Machines, Model 15. This is the smallest machine in the range specifically designed for use with diamond abrasives. The machine is offered in 3 different versions: fixed speed to suit single-phase electrical supply; fixed speed to suit three-phase electrical supply; and variable speed (to suit single-phase electrical supply only). Standard features: fabricated steel body, with adjustable levelling feet, integrally mounted drive motor, reduction gearbox, abrasive feed system, and electrical controls; liquid diamond electronic dispenser, agitator unit, and dual-head spray bar (the dispenser will operate on 115 V 10% AC or 230 V 10% AC and at either 50 or 60 Hz; no pre-selection is required; the voltage and frequency are sensed electrically); epoxy finished "wrap around" worktable - vertically adjustable to accommodate lap plate wear; three chamfered cast iron conditioning rings, with adjustable roller-bearing yoke assemblies to maintain lap plate flatness; abrasive system, complete with pump, tank, and single-point outlet with adjustable flow control (the free abrasive system using a suitable alumina abrasive is still required for lap-plate "wear conditioning" on a periodic basis); electrical system wired for 220 V 1-phase 50 Hz (single-phase fixed-speed machine and variable speed machine), 380 V 3-phase 50 Hz or 415 V, 3-phase 50 Hz (three-phase fixed-speed machine) complies with EN 60 204; high torque drive unit, 0.3 kW/0.5 HP motor with sealed maintenance-free reduction gearbox; lap plate speed 70 RPM (fixed speed); and lap plate speed 7-70 RPM (variable speed).
