Centring & Facing Machine

Precitec offers a Double End Centring and Facing Machine, Model FC Series, for simultaneous facing and centring of shaft ends. Salient features: base is a rigidly fabricated steel structure; two spindle units LH and RH are provided; for facing up to 40 mm diameter Precitec hydraulic operated self-feed spindle units are used; for larger diameters facing Precitec UMS spindles units are used; suitable job holding fixture depending on type of job is used; self centring vice (optional); well-planned coolant and chip disposal is provided with copious coolant supply at cutting supplied zones; automatic cycles using limit switch proximity switch signals and PLC provided; electrical cabinet and hydraulic systems are mounted on rear of the machine; well designed guarding against coolant splash provided (optional complete gauging); custom built job-mounting fixtures; tooling to suit a particular job or family of jobs provided on request; well designed facing; centring tools with fine adjustment for centre bits; and easy change over for different job diameter/length.
