Revolving Centres

Tooltech Industries offers Revolving Centre. It is designed and manufactured to offer maximum rigidity; concentricity, high load-carrying capability and prolonged service live. The main body is made from alloy steel, case hardened and tempered to approximate 32-40 HRc to impart toughness and increased wear resistance. The point is made from bearing steel and imparted a hardness of 60º HRc for high wear resistance. It is precision ground to give a very small runout. The standard angle of point is 60º for all types of revolving centres angles. The maximum radial runout is 0.015 mm. All revolving centres are tested in line with IS: 3793-1966. The revolving centre ranges from MT-1 to MT-6. Depending upon the load carrying capacities and maximum speed, live centres are broadly grouped into standard: double bearing; heavy duty - four bearing; extra heavy duty - five bearing; and copy turning/CNC centres - high-speed heavy duty centres with extended points for CNC machines.
