Acumac Machine Tools offers unit heads for boring, drilling, turning and milling application. These unit heads can be built as customised/standard versions for turning, milling, boring and drilling operations. It is a boon for SPM designers and manufacturers. These unit heads have been built with angular contact fibre cage ball bearings having P4 Class of accuracy. These unit heads can also be built with taper roller bearings or Gamet bearings for special applications. The unit heads will be grease lubricated for life of the bearings. Oil mist/oil lubricated spindles can also be supplied on request. Unit heads with different types of spindle nose can be built to suit customers requirements.
