Slide Units

ME's slide units have preloaded ball bushings to ensure that they have no slack. The bearings run on dual alloy steel case hardened and ground shafts (hard chrome plated optional) for minimum wear and maximum life. These slides are robust, reliable and can withstand heavy loads. They are of various sizes and travels. Top plate varies from 160 mm x 160 mm to 320 mm x 320 mm and travel from 100 mm to 320 mm. An accurately machined standard keyway (optional) on a table top simplifies secure clamping of workpieces and fixtures. The feed options available are: Manual wheel/handle, Hydraulic cylinder, Pneumatic cylinder, and Mechanical with stepper motor/ballscrew.
