The shears are fabricated from IS-226 grade\rollers steel plate. Table and cutting beam are deeply reinforced and finish machined after stress relieving. The in frocked design puts direct support to the frame. The frame is thus strain free and eliminates welds at load supports. The accuracy of the machine is never disturbed. The shears are provided with high quality four edge split and single segment knives. Normally the blades are made of steel suitable for cutting Fe-42 sheet metal of other similar material. Its material with a different strength resistance has to be cut, it will be necessary to use special blades to prevent exclusive wearing and defective cut.

• Back gauge is provided with an arrangement to set its concavity

• The shears are provided with mechanical hold-down system
• The hold-down is actuated by cam on the crankshaft through levers
• The hold-down pads hold the sheet securely to avoid slipping and bowing resulting in clean square cut
