Self-Opening Die-Heads

TACO Models SDH and SDG self opening die-heads are thread cutting tools of a simple yet robust design to achieve mass production with uniform and high accuracy threads. The die-heads are suitable for cutting both right and left hand threads. Model SDH die-heads are suitable to accept Coventry chasers, while Model SDG die-heads are suitable to accept geometric style “D” chasers, having threading capacity M2-M30 in different sizes. They can be used on automatic and semi-automatic lathe machines, turrets, capstans and screw machines.
