IMI QCSL tap chuck has been specially developed for builders of heavy machinery, turbines, motors, nuclear reactors, and other such types of heavy equipments. The capacity of these tap chucks range from M30 to M200 and these are available in Morse taper, ISO taper or in special shanks. These chucks are suitable for heavy jobs and for tapping of large threads. They are provided with length compensation feature which allows the tap to act with its own lead screw, hence eliminating all axial forces on the tap while guaranteeing maximum thread quality and long tap life. It is also equipped with a safety clutch, which will protect the tap breakage. For inserting the tap adaptor a quick-change device is provided in the chucks.
