Quick Change Chucks & Adaptors

IMI quick change tapping chucks and tap adaptors are available with or without features such as radial parallel float and length adjustment on the tap adaptors. These chucks and adaptors find use on transfer lines and multi-spindle machines. Appropriate design and use of suitable materials have resulted in a stable tool holder with a very small outer diameter of these chucks, which makes them suitable for working in single and multi-spindle vertical or horizontal machining applications. These chucks have a ball bearing length compensation device, which compensates for machine feed and tap pitch variations.
