Precision High Speed/Power Spindles

Acumac Machine Tools offers Precision High Speed/Power Spindles. These are used for machining centres. Speed ranges up-to 20,000 RPM. The spindle provides versatility to meet stringent demands in today"s machine tool, tool and die making and aerospace industries for high productivity and good quality components. This is accomplished through the use of high power motor that provide constant power. Spindles are designed with high precision angular contact ceramic ball bearings with oil-air lubrication system for individual bearings. Separate liquid cooling system for motor elements and bearings are provided. The spindle is designed for interfacing "HSK" tooling and with corresponding clamping systems. A high-resolution speed position sensor is mounted directly to the main spindle for measuring the spindle speed and also to orient the spindle for tool changing, tool clamping and tool unclamp.
