Hot Drill Systems

Nallan Engineers offers Hot Drill Systems. Different size of drill bits is provided with this system for different tap sizes. The equipment is supplied in three ranges light, medium and heavy duty starting from tapping size of M2 to M20. This could be used on any ductile material like MS, SS, alloy steels, copper, aluminium or brass. It can be used on any pillar type drilling machine with sufficient HP and RPM. Chart giving details regarding speed and horsepower for different drill sizes in materials of different thickness is provided. This new process replaces and eliminates the use of rivet nuts or welded nuts. Benefits/ advantages include: eliminates fasteners, creates bush up to 3x original material thickness; no coolant required; fast and chipless process - 2-6 seconds per hole; reduces fabrication costs as much as 80%; and bush can be used for brazing and sleeve bearing applications.
