Guided Tools

Shenoy Engineering Pvt Ltd offers Guided Tools for Spot Facing, Chamfering, Counter Boring & Deburring. Automatic back spot facing tools are designed for producing rear spot facing through guided holes without human intervention at any stage for its operation. Entry & retraction of the tool through the hole are in anti-clock-wise rotation; cutting, as the wing opens up due to centrifugal force, is in clock wise rotation. Tools are offered for hole dia 7 mm and above. For flanged components, which need spot facing around axial holes between two ribs, automatic duplex back spot facing tools are developed. On the same principle of back spot facing tool, using a triangular insert, simplex back chamfering tools and duplex back chamfering tools are offered, which produces controlled chamfers around the holes.

For producing counter bores around the drilled holes, two lipped and multi-lipped counter bore tools are offered with detachable pilots. For deburring both the ends of a drilled hole, ADCT (automatic duplex deburring & chamfering tool) is offered. The entry & retraction of the tool through the guiding hole is in a single clockwise direction. As the pressure is applied on the blade while entry from the top in clock wise rotation, before the blade gets fully folded into the recess slot in the guide shank, it deburrs the hole from the front and produces a light chamfer around the hole. Then the blade gets fully hidden into its recess and unfolds by itself as soon as the contact with the hole gets released at the bottom. As the tool gets pulled upward in clockwise rotation, the process repeats – blade deburrs the hole end in the bottom, before getting closed fully into the recess. ADCT is offered for hole dia 5 mm and above.
