Modern Machine Tools manufactures a complete range of electric discharge machines, from 15 A generator up to 450 A generator. This is the most widely used machining process among non traditional machining methods. The chief application is in the manufacturing of intricate and irregular shaped moulds for injection moulding, press tools and forging dies. The company has a long experience of manufacturing these machines. The units are available with fixed table design providing high job weight carrying capacity. It has also developed state-of-the-art 3-axis CNC and 4-axis CNC EDMs with automatic electrode discharge.
