Drilling Unit, Multi-Master Line

Suhner India offers a Multi-Master Line, a Drilling Unit for applications where there are constraints like tight space, tight tolerance or tight budget. Multi-Master Line offers the flexibility and precision for those drilling operations in close quarters. Suhner Multi-Master System is available in one spindle configurations up to eight drilling spindles driven by a single motor. With a drilling capacity of 12 mm into mild steel, this line offers solutions to the toughest applications. Model BEW 3 drilling units are designed for multiple-drive operations with flexible shafts: chrome plated quill guided inside honed housing; feed motion through an integrated pneumatic cylinder, fast advance and return stroke; feed control with hydraulic brake-cylinder; precision dual spindle bearings; built-in limit switches; variable spindle speeds through interchangeable push-on pulleys on VG 4 and VG 8 drive housing; and type protection machining unit: IP 55.
