CNC Tap Chucks & Tap Adaptors

CNC Tap Chucks & Tap Adaptors comes from Indmech Industrial Corporation. IMI has introduced a tapping chuck with an automotive shank, suitable to use on CNC machining centres. These chucks are available in various sizes to cover tapping capacity up to M48. The tapping chucks are equipped with ball bearing axial length compensation both in compression and in expansion. This allows the tap to act at its lead screw, which eliminates all axial forces on the tap, which guarantee maximum thread quality and long tap life. For inserting the tap adaptors, a quick-change device is provided in the chucks. Tap adaptors are available with or without safety clutch.
