Bench Centre

Minimatic Machines offers Minimatic Bench Centre (MBC) as a fast and accurate method of inspecting the radial run out like cylindrical shaft, camshaft, crankshaft and gear teeth run out by using arbor, mandrel or directly on centre. For this type of measurement, a slide is provided for dial indicator stand in-built on the bed. It covers the whole length of the bench centre. One centre is spring loaded to accommodate small variation in component to length. Each centre can be locked in any position along the slot by means of hand knobs. The surface table and centre heads are made from closed gained cast iron FG-2000, seasoned and finished on the working face and reference slide edge of table by hand scraping to meet with the required accuracy. The centre stock spindles are smooth lapped to ensure accuracy of the spindle height and relationship to reference slide edge. The centres are hardened high carbon steel accurately ground on the diameter and internal grinding as per-standard Morse taper.
