MTAR is India’s renowned and indigenous manufacturer of High Precision Ball Screws MARC precision ballscrews are widely used in the feeding mechanisms, NC machine tools, power reactors, highly accurate measuring instruments and other applications. MARC ballscrews are now a distinctive mark to manufacturers faced with the current technology development. The function of ballscrews is based on the principle of converting rotary motion to linear motion and vice-versa by a train of recirculating balls interposed between hardened ball tracks in the ball nut and shaft. The ISO-9001 certified quality system company follows German standard DIN 69051 and Japanese standard JIS B 1192, with the application of quality assurance system according to ISO 9001 of the international organisation of standardisation. Over the years, it has perfected its design, production, heat-treatment/induction hardening, testing and inspection methodology in the manufacture of recirculating ballscrews to the international standards at par with any ballscrew manufacturer in the world. The company has capability of manufacturing ballscrews up to 6-metre length and will soon be enhancing this to 12 metres. It also manufactures hollow ballscrews of the above mentioned length. Applications are in CNC machines, machine tools, industrial robots, CNC EDM, aerospace, medical equipments, mechanical handling equipments and at all areas where high speed travel with accurate positioning is required.
