PSG Industrial Institute offers PSG 124/A124 all geared Precision Centre Lathe renowned for its productivity, quality and performance. This is ideally suited for machining high precision, production and tool room jobs and engineered for simplicity, reliability and robustness. The main spindle runs on high precision taper roller bearings. The built-in safety features ensure reliable operation. Main spindles and drive gears are made of nickel-chromium steel, hardened and precision ground. The bed guideways are hardened and precision ground. Standard accessories: drive plate, change gears for metric, Whitworth threads and for feeds, dead centres, centre sleeve, thread chasing dial, tool post, chip tray, spanner and oil gun. Optional accessories: coolant pump, machine lamp, 3-jaw, 4-jaw chucks with back plate, change gears for module, DP threads, revolving centre, splash guard, and attachments – milling (keyway), spherical turning, taper turning, rear tool post, steady rest, follow rest, face plate, and quick change tool post. The company also offers PSG 141/A141 type lathe with centre height 177.5 mm, 800 or 1000 mm ABC, spindle speeds 8 or 16, and main motor power 3 HP or 1.5/3 HP.
